Fluorescent colors are not lightfast, but our experience shows they
will hold their chroma
even when left exposed for many months in the mixed direct
and indirect Florida sunlight.
This experience is echoed in anecdotes provided by customers. It is
however the inherent
natureof these colors that, as they "fluoresce," they expend their
potential energy and
will eventually deplete themselves. How long this takes is uncertain
and highly dependent
on a painting's incident light conditions. There are several
